Learn from the PA experts! New blog post by Sosun Sendi – Public Affairs Director at Ulobby
This week on The Public Affairs Engine Blog, Anders Kopp interviews Sosun Sendi, our very own Public Affairs Director here at Ulobby.
Sosun shares her methods of staying updated on Public Affairs, which include following PA experts on different channels and listening to podcasts like "The Persuaders Podcast" and "Pluxcast" by Patrick Keating and Connor Allen. Discussing the future skills required for PA professionals, Sosun believes that the pandemic has highlighted the importance of political decisions on businesses. PA professionals need to speak the language of C-level executives, embrace technology, and demonstrate a solid understanding of how to generate business to maintain their relevance.
Ulobby, being a software company, doesn't have a dedicated PA department, but Sosun communicates with PA professionals across Europe, where departments typically range from 3-5 people. She believes the ideal position for the PA function is where C-level executives understand its importance and value for the bottom line.
